Although I already had quite a bit of experience with imperative reactive programming, I discovered FRP while reading the book of Paul Hudak: "The Haskell School of Expression". Just got my very own copy of the little lisper, but took 2 hours to decide to buy it over the haskell school of expression. Hear for example that lazy evaluation gives a lot of what macroes give from lisp.. The author's style is wonderful, and he is good at explaining the material … unique in the field of functional programming'. Purely Functional Data Structures by Chris Okasaki amazing little book. I picked up "The Haskell School of Expression", Paul Hudak, from Yale, in it's 7th printing, 2007. Functional Reactive Programming (FRP). I want to make abstraction of time evolution of physical amounts with hiding each time points. But Hudak seems to take forever to dish out the language. Paul Hudak's excellent book begins: "Programming, in its broadest sense, is problem solving ." Would that we all lived by such a sensible guideline.
